In the cold jan of 2006 the captain dangerfoot sessions took place in steve and jordan’s apartment, complete with no heat, save for what came up from the dui lady downstairs. Few shows were had that year… In feb 2007 captain dangerfoot began performing as apart of Loft Collective Band I, as well as booking solo shows. The Collective band came to a close just one short year later.. In april 2008, drummer – jordan elam and josh played a show as captain dangerfoots.. followed by a 6 month string of shows. 10 in all.

Dec 22, 2008 marked the release of “sing songs”, the captain dangerfoot singular form. the winter of 2008/2009 captain dangerfoot went singular crazy and began booking to play anywhere with or without audience… continually looking for kitchens, front yards, birthday partys, and open mikes galor. All Ages.
